Care Instructions
At hao, we carefully wash all vintage fabrics before crafting them into our products.
While hand-washing is possible if you are concerned about soil, please strictly observe the following guidelines to preserve the fabric's beauty.
- Remove the Cords/Straps:
Please always remove the cords or straps before washing. - Color Fading & Transfer:
Dark-colored fabrics may fade or bleed. There is a risk that the color may transfer to the lining or the ribbon at the bag's opening. Wash separately and quickly. - For "Chirimen" (Silk Crepe):
Fabrics with a textured surface (Chirimen) will shrink significantly when they absorb water.
Important: While the fabric is still damp (semi-dry), gently stretch it back to its original shape using an iron.
Repairs
We want you to cherish and use our products for a long time. If you ever need repairs, please feel free to consult with us first.
We will do our best to handle repairs whenever possible.
