Shipping Time
Orders are usually shipped within 3 business days after payment confirmation.
Please note that shipping may be delayed during our summer and New Year holidays.

Gift Shipping (Important)
Due to international shipping regulations and system limitations, the "Sender" on the shipping label will be displayed as our store name (hao_official), even for gift orders. It will not display the purchaser's name on the outer label.

However, to ensure the recipient knows it is a gift from you, we will:
1. Include a note inside the package stating: "A gift from [Purchaser's Name]".
2. Enclose a packing slip that includes the purchaser's name and address.

Customs, Duties & Taxes (Import VAT)
All orders are shipped internationally from Japan via Japan Post (EMS).
Prices listed on our site do not include local customs duties, import taxes (such as VAT or GST), or customs clearance handling fees. These additional charges are determined by your destination country's customs office and the local delivering postal carrier, and must be paid by the recipient upon delivery.
 
Important Note for Customers in the EU & UK:
• Import VAT: Shipments to the EU and UK are subject to local import VAT (approx. 20% depending on the country), regardless of the order value.
• Postal Handling Fees: Local postal operators (e.g., La Poste, Royal Mail) assess an administrative handling fee to process and collect these taxes.
• Customs Duties: Orders valued over €150 / £135 may also incur additional customs duties.
 
Please note: hao cannot estimate or cover the exact customs fees for your country. If an order is returned to us due to unpaid customs fees, taxes, or recipient refusal, the original shipping costs and any incurred return fees will be deducted from your refund.
